About
An Ontario integration practice built around a straightforward idea: the person who scopes the work should be the person who commissions it.
The practice
Controls, networks, AV and the software between them.
Bello Integrated Systems works across industrial controls, operational networking, performance AV and custom software. Those four areas sit together because real installations do not respect the boundaries between them — a lighting system depends on a network, a process line depends on data getting somewhere useful, and both depend on someone having written down how it works.
The practice is deliberately small. Projects are taken on where that scale is an advantage: retrofits, integrations, systems that need judgement rather than headcount, and work that a larger firm would route through three departments and a project manager.
Principal
John Bello
John works in industrial controls and systems integration, with a parallel background in technical theatre. That combination is less unusual than it sounds — both disciplines are about making equipment behave predictably, on cue, in front of people who will notice immediately if it does not.
Alongside the controls work he serves as Technical Director at a community theatre in Dundas, Ontario, where the technical infrastructure — networking, show automation, and the software the organisation runs on — has been designed and built in-house.
Where we work
Based in Dundas, Ontario. Regular work throughout the Hamilton, Halton and Niagara regions and the western Greater Toronto Area. Remote support and software work further afield.
How engagements start
Usually a site visit and a conversation, then a written scope with a fixed price or a rate and an estimate. No obligation attaches to the first conversation.
